2020 Gibraltar Santa £2 & 50p Coin Collection

Celebrating the magic of Christmas.

On 19th October 2021, the Gibraltar National Mint, on behalf of the Government of Gibraltar, came together with Tower Mint to strike the first Christmas currency of 2021 in the 2021 Santa Barbary Ape £2 & 50p Collection. The collection includes several specifications, including circulating currency, which will be legal tender in Gibraltar.

Reverse Designs: The collection features a Barbary Ape atop the Rock of Gibraltar wearing a Santa hat and cracker in hand, and also two apes in front of a Christmas tree mischievously opening presents.
