Raphael founded Tower Mint over 40 years ago and has led the business to great success to date. Raphael is responsible for the 1985 effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II with a library of effigies which have been used for Great Britain & Commonwealth coinage.
Elliot was appointed Managing Director of Tower Mint at the beginning of 2020, and is responsible for the full operation of the company. Elliot joined Tower in 2012 after a successful career in retail and wholesale distribution reaching board level.
Andrew has over 20 years’ experience working across private practice, banking, international retail, and manufacturing in both corporate and private sectors. Andrew joined Tower in 2019 as our Finance Director, and has driven the integration of our new bespoke system in 2021.
Karen has over 11 years’ experience working in the numismatic industry developing products for UK and International markets. She joined Tower in 2020 as Head of NPD and Sales & Marketing team. Karen was appointed Director of Sales & Business Development in 2021.
Lee has over 30 years’ experience in various industries with a wealth of manufacturing experience in various different sectors, including fast moving consumer goods and specialising in production efficiency. Lee was appointed Director of Production in 2021.
Lynda has over 30 years’ experience in commercial roles, 19 of which have been dedicated to Tower Mint. She is responsible for Tower Mint’s financial functions, including accounts payable, and financial reporting.
Kerry joined Tower in 2018 as a self confessed coin collector and numismatic enthusiast, with over 10 years’ experience in finance, and sales & marketing. KEW was appointed Sales & Marketing Manager in 2021.
Jane has been with Tower Mint for over 20 years, working closely with Raphael Maklouf. Jane implemented TML’s operational and administrative processes, and managed these before resigning in her day-to-day duties to focus on the priorities of the Board.
Son of Raphael Maklouf, David, after an internship with the European Commission in Brussels in 1996, went on to spend the early part of his career in the Business Consulting division of Arthur Andersen in Luxembourg. David is now a member of the Board at TML.
David has been involved with Tower for over 30 years. David spent 35 years with Hambros Bank in Corporate Finance and as an Industrial Adviser, during this time he chaired or sat on the boards of Plc’s, AIM and private companies in a wide variety of fields.
