Raphael founded Tower Mint over 40 years ago and has led the business to great success to date. Raphael is responsible for the 1985 effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II with a library of effigies which have been used for Great Britain & Commonwealth coinage.
Deputy Chairman & Director
David has been involved with Tower for over thirty years. David spent thirty five years with Hambros Bank in Corporate Finance and as an Industrial Adviser, during this time he chaired or sat on the boards of Plc’s, AIM and private companies in a wide variety of fields.
Sales and Marketing Director
After a successful career in retail and wholesale distribution reaching board level, Elliot joined TML in 2012 as sales and marketing manager and has recently joined the board as Sales and Marketing Director. Elliot is responsible for the Sales and Marketing department and is involved in the general business activities and decisions for TML and Heritage Chocolates.
Son of Raphael Maklouf. After an internship with the European Commission in Brussels in 1996, David went on to spend the early part of his career in the Business Consulting division of Arthur Andersen in Luxembourg. He now works closely on all issues relating to TML.
Wayne is a qualified manufacturing/production engineer with 15 years’ experience within plastic injection moulding and high speed machinery, later moving into managerial responsibilities. Wayne joined TML in 2014 and has been greatly successful in further improving and developing the production area and the processes involved. Wayne is responsible for production optimisation, operational efficiency and improvements. Wayne recently joined the board as Production Director in April 2016.
Commercial & Operations Director
Jane has been with TML for over 20 years, working closely with Raphael Maklouf has gained invaluable experience of both the heritage and numismatics industry. Jane has implemented TML’s operational and administrative processes and manages these responsibilities on a day to day basis.
Substantial experience in Commercial roles. Responsible for Tower Mint financial functions, including receipts, payable, financial reporting, stock control and general reporting.
