AN UNPRECEDENTED TIME
The last 18 months or so has been an unprecedented time, with the worldwide pandemic affecting us all in some form or other.
The pandemic has been a challenge to us all but today Tower Mint is delighted to announce the news of two new Pitcairn Islands stamp issues for 2021.
20th November 2021 sees the first new issue from the Pitcairn Islands since February 2020, these six new stamps celebrate the 95th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
These six stamps feature Her Majesty at different stages of her life, from young Princess to Longest reigning monarch and available as a set of six stamps or complete sheets. A limited edition First Day Cover is also available, postmarked on the first day of issue, just 500 covers will be available worldwide.
A TRIBUTE TO HRH PRINCE PHILIP, THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH
The second new issue will follow on 4th December, this new issue pays tribute to HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, who sadly passed away earlier this year. These stamps comprise 4 values and feature His Royal Highness at different stages of his life.
These stamps are also available as an individual set or in complete sheets or you could own all four stamps on a limited edition first day cover, with just 500 available worldwide.
