2023 has been a remarkable year for numismatics, with the crowning of His Majesty, King Charles III, the UK and Commonwealth realms have seen unprecedented change. Tower Mint has seen one of its most challenging, yet successful years to date, and all the while, behind the pomp and the ceremony, we have been working on our minting capabilities and techniques. We are finally ready to introduce our extraordinary new minting, and 2024 collections of the Pitcairn Islands Ultra High Relief HMS Bounty, and Pitcairn Islands Ultra High Relief Lunar Dragon….
The first strike and seal samples of the ultra-high relief collections were struck by managing director, Elliot Dawson, and founder, Raphael Maklouf. Elliot Dawson called it a ‘huge relief, and a huge success!… I am extremely pleased with the results and the way in which the minting team has created, and implemented new and innovative procedures to allow us to mint these very special specifications.’ It is a special moment for both Elliot and Raphael, who have seen Tower Mint go from strength to strength over the last decade, proving that the team’s commitment to excellence has truly paid off.
